Doncaster Belles: Sue Smith signs new deal

Smith’s experience will be vital following the club’s return to FAWSL1.

The 36-year-old winger, who has 93 caps for England, will this year embark on her fifth season with Belles.

She said: “Signing a new contract wasn’t a hard decision at all.

“I think myself and a lot of the girls from last season absolutely loved it here, we loved getting promoted.

“It’s now a chance to test ourselves in FAWSL1.

“For me, there wasn’t another decision to be made.

“I’ve always wanted to be at Doncaster Belles and I’m really pleased to have signed a new contract.”
