Beauty queen Danielle Hanson is bidding for double glory after securing one pageant crown - and is now in the hunt for another.

Danielle, 23, of Skellow, first competed in beauty pageants last year when she was selected as a Miss South Yorkshire 2013 finalist, and this year she competed in Miss Dream Street Derby in which she won the title of Miss Charity Supreme after raising £435.15 for Arthritis UK.

She will now compete for the title of Miss Dream Streets UK at the final in August - and she is hoping to secure her second title of the year after been selected as a Miss British Empire Rotherham finalist too.

She is also lining up a sponsored sky dive for Cancer Research in August.

Danielle will take the Miss British Empire stage on May 30, competing against 15 other women. The event will consist of a one on one interview with the judges and four catwalk rounds.
