Doncaster band ready for right royal launch of new EP

Soul, reggae rock and love will collide when a Doncaster band launches their EP in the hometown this week.

Kiziah and The Kings are launching their EP with a special show at The Leopard, in the town centre, tomorrow, Friday, March 18.

The band – who describe themselves as from the “soul, rock, reggae, love” genre – are singer Kiziah Watson, guitarist Dane Watson, bassist Wrieff Muldoon, keyboard player Richard Cook and drummer Fin Haddrell.

A band spokesman said: “We are a young, fresh band with a different sound and eclectic feel, currently in the studio, recording new material.”

Kiziah said they were “overwhelmed with the response” to the launch night and tickets were “selling like wild fire”.

The spokesman said: “We are truly over the moon with how many people are coming out to see us – it’s looking to be a sell out.

“In return, we promise to give people a surprise on the night.”

Kiziah said: “We will be recording both the sound and video on the night and can’t wait to capture this.”
