A CITIZENS Advice Bureau in Sheffield has received a £1,000 boost following a donation from a Sheffield law firm.
The South East Sheffield Citizens Advice Bureau, in Mosborough, offers free, confidential advice to community members and outreach services, including one in Westfield.
The bureau was given the donation by solicitors Irwin Mitchell.
Adrian Budgen, a partner at the firm, said: “Cuts to public sector funding are having a huge effect and it is essential private sector businesses get involved to help out.”
The bureau’s chief executive, Mark Burton, said: “We’ve never been busier with people seeking our advice and support, so contributions like this make a massive difference.”
