Donation to be spent on improvements in Barnsley park
Play equipment in Thurnscoe Park is to be refurbished thanks to a £22,000 donation.
The Friends of Thurscoe Park will spend the money, from a pot into which developers donate, refurbishing existing play equipment, including providing security gates, a secure shed for tools and a new World War One memorial bench.
The cash is to help volunteers with their ongoing development work.
