Don’t believe everything you read in papers

Have your say

Who took us into Europe? The Tories. Who is better at managing the economy? According to Simon Wren-Lewis, Oxford University Economics Professor, there’s not much to choose between them, but the Tory austerity plan is actually holding up the recovery. Nobel Prize-winning economists called their 2010 economic manifesto “folly, posing as wisdom”.

According to Tory myth, John Major brought in Ken Clarke “to save the economy from the previous Labour government”. This was in 1993, after 14 years of the Tories, including 11 years of Thatcherism, the thing Nigel Farage is “nostalgic for”.

“Lifelong Labour voters”, who “would never vote Tory”, are extolling the virtues of UKIP, whose “shadow cabinet” and two MPs are all ex-Tories. There were plenty of socialist candidates in last year’s council elections they could have voted for, they all came last.

UKIP are lying to you, they can’t give you a referendum on the EU. If that’s what you want, vote for the REAL Tory party, not the regurgitated one. If you vote UKIP, you’ll get the Tories anyway.

And, ironically, don’t believe everything you read in the papers.
