Dog volunteer’s charity walk

Have your say

SHEFFIELD girl Adelle Parkinson will be hitting the road to earn vital funds for a local dog rescue centre where she works as a volunteer.

Adelle will be joined a group of friends to embark on a sponsored walk from Manor Top to Meadowhead at 11am on July 8.

It’s their intention to raise cash to help care for the many abandoned dogs looked after each year by the Helping Hands Dogs Rescue.

The charity is based in Rainbow Road, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield, and is desperately short of funds.

This rescue is a small, non-profit organisation, funded entirely by donations and fundraising.

Please log onto to sponsor the seven-mile walk.
