What good news that this divisive and unfair “pay to stay” rule has now been scrapped!

This U-turn will encourage us in Gleadless Valley Labour Party to campaign with householders and TARAs (Residents and Tenants Associations) to persuade the Government to think twice about abolishing lifetime tenancies for new tenants from next April.

How can families only having a two-year tenancy plan their lives?

This proposed rule will adversely affect community spirit and social cohesion on our estates.
