A distraught Doncaster mum has launched a plea to track down her daughter's beloved soft toy.

Michelle Taylor is calling on readers to help track down a comforter blanket belonging to her two-year-old daughter Layla at a Doncaster supermarket last month.

She said: "We are lost without it. Layla took him everywhere. She has had him since birth and he's very special to her."

The comforter toy is a giraffe called Jambo and was lost at the Morrisons supermarket in Woodfield Way on April 23 at around noon.

Added Michelle: "Jambo was bought from the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and named after the giraffe there called Jambo."

Anyone who can help reunite Layla with Jambo should contact darren.burke@jpress.co.uk and we will pass the messages on to Michelle.
