BEAUTY spot Creswell Crags is celebrating the national Festival of British Archeology with a series of events.
This Saturday there will be a lecture by geological expert Mark Woods on the Carboniferous World, from 2.30pm.
There will also be historical tours on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday July 21 and 22. Both are subject to charges.
On Monday, July 23, there will be the chance to make replica fossils. The event is free. And on Saturday, July 28, BBC2’s Julian Richards is giving a free archaeological lecture. Call 01909 720 378.
