Director shortlisted for national award
A South Yorkshire choreographer and director has been nominated for a major national award.
Gary Clarke, who recently scooped an Achievement in Dance prize for his production of COAL, at the 2016 UK Theatre Awards, has now received a nomination for Best Independent Company, at the 17th Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards, which will be presented at a ceremony next February.
Gary, of Barnsley, said: “It’s extraordinary to be shortlisted for such an important award.”
