Dinnington kick off FA Cup campaign on TV

PROCEEDS from Dinnington Town's game with Rotherham United this week will be handed over to the Bluebell Wood Hospice Appeal at Dinnington's FA Cup preliminary round tie with Maltby Main a week tomorrow.

To ensure that the tie will be the first in the 2007/08 FA Cup competition, kick-off has been brought forward to 7.30pm.

The match is to be featured as part of Sky’s FA Cup coverage that weekend, and there will be a presentation of the charity cash to Bluebell Wood.

Dinnington beat the Millers 3-0 with goals from Man Menga, John Somerset and Matt Wragg.

Dinningtob start their Northern Counties East League First Division programme at home to Worsbrough Bridge on Saturday.

They have a home friendly against Sheffield United on Monday (7.30).
