Dig out your treasures

Pierre Maciag from Wilby’s will appear at Darfield church hall for the event organised by the village’s Amenity Society.

Society spokesman Geoffrey Hutchinson said: “This will be an ideal opportunity for people to dig out those objects grandma left and find their true value.”

The event is at Darfield church hall, Church Street, Darfield at 7.30pm.

Admission is 2 and there will be a charge of 2 for each item valued.

Proceeds will go towards the society’s fund to restore the School Street reading rooms.
