SCORES of diamond sweethearts celebrated their anniversaries together with a special event.
The 22 couples were invited to a jubilee afternoon tea at Chesterfield Town Hall.
Coun Donald Parsons, Mayor of Chesterfield, hosted the event.
He said: “We wanted to do something special in this jubilee year to celebrate the couples who have lived through the ups and downs of our country over the past 60 years and this seemed like a very fitting way.
“There were lots of shared memories of the years gone by and hopefully there will be many more to come for all our diamond couples.”
Each couple received a china pill box with the pomegranate seal as a memento.
