An application to build the 62 properties in Millhouses has been separately considered by the authority.

“In order to enable the approved development to be carried out, it is necessary to re-route part of the public footpath which runs through the site,” a planning report states.

No objections have been received by the authority to the application, which is recommended for approval.

The application is recommended for approval, when it is discussed by Sheffield City Council’s next planning and highways committee, set to take place on Tuesday, May 22.
