Detectives are still working to solve the murder of a young dad stabbed to death in Sheffield.

Jarvin Blake, aged 22, was fatally attacked in Burngreave, six weeks ago today and despite four arrests nobody has yet been charged.

A post mortem examination revealed that Jarvin died from a single stab wound to his chest.

Detectives investigating the stabbing are treating it as a targeted attack.

Four men, aged 24, 25, and two 26-year-olds, have been arrested in connection with the murder and are all on bail pending further enquiries.

Three of the suspects are from Sheffield and one is from Rotherham.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Handley, leading the murder probe, said: "The murder investigation continues.

"We are awaiting forensic results, viewing CCTV and reviewing extensive telecoms data."

Jarvin grew up in Burngreave and had friends and relatives who live there.

He was engaged to his partner of seven years, Kelsey Dixon, and they were planning on getting married over the next couple of years.

Kelsey has described Jarvin as a 'fantastic dad who loved spending time' with his children.

She issued plea for witnesses to the stabbing or those who know why it happened or who was responsible to come forward.
