Derbyshire travel update

A severe incident on the M1 Derbyshire southbound involving a collision between two lorries has caused big delays.

The area affected is between J30 for A616 Derbyshire and J29 for A617 Derbyshire M1 Derbyshire - M1 closed and queuing traffic southbound between J30, A616 (Worksop) and J29, A617 (Chesterfield), because of a vehicle fire, an accident involving two lorries and recovery work. Diversion is in operation - via A619 to Chesterfield and A617 back to M1 J29.
