Derbyshire man charged with bookies robbery
A man has been charged with robbing a bookmaker in Chesterfield.
Edward Warren, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield, is accused of robbing Coral Racing, on Derby Road, on Wednesday, December 9.
A police spokesman said that around 10am, a man walked into the bookmakers and approached the cashier.
He threatened her and demanded cash. She handed some money over and the man left.
Warren is due to appear before magistrates in the town on January 8.
