Look who’s arrived just in time for winter!

After one of the warmest autumns on record, these winter lambs have been born at Border View Farm, Dronfield Woodhouse.

The Merryman family, Alec, his wife Julie (pictured right) and daughter Lizzie, said they were delighted to welcome the Dorset ewes, which are renowned for being born at any time of the year.

They were born as the mild weather came to an abrupt end – freezing temperatures and some snow are forecast for parts of Derbyshire by the end of the week.
