Derbyshire child sex pest free to walk streets

Michael Bonson, of The Hill, Glapwell, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Thursday.

The 64-year-old was made subject of a three-year supervision requirement and handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He must complete programmes aimed at changing offender behavior and pay a £500 fine.

The Online Predator Investigation Team (OPIT) informed police about Bonson's crimes after collating evidence against him.

Following the case, an OPIT spokesman said the sentence was 'too low'.
