Derbyshire charity trio land windfall to build on success
Three charity groups in Derbyshire have received funding of more than £68,000.
The money has been awarded through the People’s Health Trust.
Derbyshire Friend got £26,340 to build on the success of their LBGT social group for young people in Chesterfield, Church On The Bus in Chesterfield received £19,098 to run a social group for homeless people and the Indian Community Centre Association based in Derby was handed £22,800 to deliver a lunch club for elderly members of the Asian community.
