Denaby off to flyer
THE new Doncaster Star Quiz League season got underway - with last year's runners-up making a tremendous start.
Denaby Officials’ Club started their campaign in fine style with a resounding victory away to The Talisman.
In the other match the teams could not be separated as The Salutation fought a keenly-contested draw with The Golden Fleece.
Champions Alverley Inn and Skellow Grange did not play on the opening day of the season.
