A group supporting people with dementia is looking for new members as it celebrates its first anniversary,
Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance is to hold an open meeting next Wednesday, May 21, between 2pm and 4pm at The Circle, Rockingham Lane.
It is hoping to get more local businesses and organisations involved in its work.
People can come along and find out about dementia-friendly communities, the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends campaign and see a presentation on a new website for carers of people with dementia.
Alzheimer’s Society Services manager Anna Machalica said: “Everyone is welcome to attend this open afternoon to learn more about the work that is going on across our city to improve the lives of people living with dementia.”
