The show, which ingeniously combines a cast of humans and puppets, tells the story of Princeton, a fresh-faced college graduate who is desperate to find love, meaningful friendships, a stable job and his purpose in life.

It features hilarious musical numbers such as Everyone's A Little Bit Racist and The Internet Is For Porn and, with unlikely plot twists and big laughs, the Company is confident this show will bring the house down every night!

The cast of 19 includes Jennifer Horsfield as girl-next-door Kate Monster, Mark Holmes as Rod the Republican and Adam Walker as Gary Coleman'¦ yes THAT Gary Coleman!

All three will be easily recognised for playing many different roles on stage in the past - but Avenue Q has pushed them well out of their comfort zone as they get to grips with learning lines and puppeteering at the same time.

Director Gina Townend said: 'At the moment we are working with a set of rehearsal puppets which has been enormously helpful in allowing the actors to get a feel for what it will be like to perform with them and interact with each other, but they are very different to the actual performance puppets.

'We have been lucky enough to hire the professional UK national tour set of puppets which is really exciting '“ we can't wait to get our hands on them'¦or up them!'
