Delays after car crashes off motorway on M1 near Sheffield
Delays are expected for some motorists in South Yorkshire after a car left the motorway and ended up in its side in a field.
The M1 southbound near junction 35 (Chapeltown) has a lane closed this evening, South Yorkshire Police said.
The force’s tweet said: “Delays on M1 south junction 35 as vehicle left the road. Luckily minor injuries only, all lanes will be open soon.”
Delays are expected to clear this evening.
Traffic may be heavier than usual in parts of the city centre as well tonight due to Tramlines Festival finishing this evening.
