Decision on biomass boiler at Sheffield farm delayed
Councillors will visit a farm to see the site of a proposed biomass boiler for themselves.
A decision was due today on MHH Biomass's plans to install the boiler at Prospect Farm in Kirk Edge Road, High Bradfield.
A number of nearby residents have objected to the plans, citing concerns about industrialisation of the green belt.
As a result, councillors voted to visit the site, meaning a decision will be deferred until March 28.
