Dearne Valley College gets top marks for new restaurant from chef

Dearne Valley College has opened a restaurant to train the next generation of chefs.

The Griffin Grill on the Onyx Retail Park, Manvers, will be staffed by students and apprentices.

VIP guest Chef Stephanie Moon, who has worked at restaurants and for the Queen, attended the official opening.

Dearne Valley College Principal and Chief Executive, Martin Harrison, said: The launch of The Griffin Grill is a fantastic feat for the college.
