Deaf people in Sheffield sharing stories

Have your say

DEAF people across Sheffield are sharing their stories to highlight support for people with hearing problems.

Information and translation service Deafinitions is aiming to raise awareness for its work with an open day.

There will be exhibitions and clips showing deaf people using sign language to talk about their experiences, culture and everyday life at the Showroom cinema, Paternoster Row, on Saturday. February 9, from 10.30am-1.30pm.

Deafinitions is using the open day to launch its projects in Sheffield providing resources for deaf people, providing a better understanding of self-care and healthcare and helping with life skills.
