David Bowie mural in Sheffield city centre causes a stir

A mural of rock legend David Bowie on a Sheffield city centre street has started to go viral on social media.

The work of art, which has been spray painted on Division Street, has had a mixed response since it was completed in the last 24 hours.

The mural is believed to have been produced by a graffiti artist who goes my the name #Trik09, and comes just weeks after Bowie's death.

Photos of the mural have been circulating on Twitter and Facebook all morning, with some ridiculing the artwork.
