AN AWARENESS day being organised to promote a better understanding of autism takes place later this month.

Ross Littlewood, who has Asperger’s Syndrome, has organised the event which will take place at The Quadrant, Parkway Avenue, Sheffield, on Wednesday, August 29.

He said: “There will be presentations from different support charities.

“There will also be the chance for members of the public to find out more about how the condition affects people’s daily lives.”

Ross will also give a talk at the awareness day.

The event starts at noon and finishes at 1.30pm. Entry is free.
