Dark days are ahead for sufferers

AS MANY as one in 20 people are believed to be affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder, with women particularly prone.

A lack of sunlight makes sufferers feel low and the condition tends to hit in the winter with the darker days, making it more difficult for sufferers to tackle everyday tasks.

Symptoms include persistent tiredness, disturbed sleep, unusual eating habits and loss of libido which usually disappear in Spring.
