Dancers at Albert Hall

Have your say

Students from a Chesterfield dance school have been selected to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Pupils from The Academy of Dance have been picked from hundreds of acts around the UK to perform at the first ever Dance Proms.

The 25 dancers, all aged 16 and over, will join 24 other acts for the show on November 13.

They will be performing a piece called ‘Ferrie’ – a showgirl routine inspired by the Moulin Rouge in Paris and choreographed by Rachel Littlewood, the principal of The Academy of Dance.
