The bike ride, called "All roads lead to Sheffield - A Ride for Claire", hopes to raise money towards 32-year-old Claire's goal of £22,000.

The money aims to pay for a 12-day course of stem cell treatment in Russia.

Claire is battling an agressive form of Multiple Sclerosis, which has left her unable to walk without aid, and she suffers daily pain due to the illness.

The event, taking place on June 21, will see five teams of cyclists racing towards Sheffield from around England.

The teams will depart at 8am from London, Bedford, Liverpool, Hull and Durham and will arrive at The Penny Black pub on Pond Hill in Sheffield later in the day.

The pub will have fundraising events, and live music throughout the evening, ready to welcome the cyclists home.

Raffle tickets for the day are available now, with the many prizes including Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United match tickets, and a family pass to Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

The live music is being provided by Sheffield bands Searching for Sylvia and Outside the Box.

Previous fundraisers for Claire's cause include bake sales and sponsored runs.
