NINETY people from across the country gathered in Sheffield for a National Cycling Conference.

The event is held in a different place each year and this time it was hosted by campaign group CycleSheffield, at Sheffield University.

Cyclists who attended discussed what work should be carried out to lobby councils and the Government to invest in new cycle routes, to get more people on their bikes.

There was also a talk by Sheffield-based academic, Prof Danny Dorling, who spoke about the need to get more poorer people cycling.
