A group of South Yorkshire cyclists are taking part in a cycle challenge across Ireland, in aid of a Sheffield youth charity.

The group, ‘Geeks on Peaks,’ have been supporting Endeavour for years, raising nearly £80,000 for the charity on bike rides and treks since 2012.

Next month they are hoping to raise £14,000 when they cycle 258 miles across Ireland, from County Mayo to Dublin.

Group leader Michael Boardman said: “Endeavour’s work with disengaged and disadvantaged young people is inspirational.”
