It can sometimes be difficult to share the road with other travellers - but a survey has found that cyclists and drivers in Doncaster have among the most harmonious relationship in the country.
When asked how they would rank their relationship with the each other out of 10 – with ten being the most harmonious and one being the least – two and four wheel drivers in Doncaster reported a good bond.
Drivers in the town rated their relationships as a 6.7, and cyclists said it was 4.7.
These figures followed the countrywide trend, which shows drivers seemed to think things were much rosier than the cyclists did overall.
The survey was carried out b Car leasing company Cars on Demand, who asked 2,000 drivers and cyclists across the UK for their opinions.
The nation’s capital, London, came out with the worst overall drivers/cyclists relationships. Their combined average is just 4.5.
