Cyclist hurt in hit-and-run
A WOMAN was knocked from her bicycle by a motorist who then drove off from the scene.
The 33-year-old was cycling along Brimington Road towards Whittington Moor roundabout when she was hit from behind by a navy blue Ford Escort estate.
She was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Police are now trying to trace the driver of the Escort, as well as any witnesses. Call 0845 123 3333.
