VIBE Sheffield has reported that OMG on West Street has closed its doors but an 'American Rode' themed diner will be taking its place.

OMG describes itself as one of the UK's 'busiest and biggest gay venues, with clubs in Bristol, Liverpool, Plymouth and Swansea.

However, the Sheffield venue has been taken off the website's list of clubs and it has been listed as 'permanently closed' on Google.

Their website states: "OMG are the UK’s busiest and biggest gay venues, with state-of-the-art sound & lighting systems, buzzing atmosphere and great pricing."

However, it seems a new restaurant, called Broncos Rodeo, could soon be taking the place of the former nightclub.

The planned site for the new bar and restaurant is the former OMG bar, according to VIBE, and work appears to be going on inside the building.
