CRUCIBLE DRAW: Trump faces Wenbo and O'Sullivan drawn against Gilbert in first World Snooker Championship round

The World Snooker Championships draw has been made

The draw for the World Snooker Championship has been made this morning - with Judd Trump handed a difficult test against Liang Wenbo.

Elsewhere, Mark Williams and Graeme Dott - both former Crucible world champions - will face off in the first round, with defending champion Stuart Bingham facing former finalist Ali Carter.

Marco Fu plays Peter Ebdon, qualifier Ding Junhui faces Martin Gould and debutant Mitchell Mann faces Mark Allen at the famous Sheffield venue.

The action kicks off on Saturday, live on the BBC, and runs until May 2. The draw was conducted by Barry Hearn, chairman of World Snooker, and Fred Done from tournament sponsors Betfred.
