Seven youths were served with disposal order notices by officers involved in a ‘week of action’ in a Sheffield suburb.
They were asked to leave the Abbeydale area for a specified length of time for stone throwing and abusive language.
Two of the youths were arrested for breaching the orders and received official police cautions.
Police officers carried out high visibility patrols in the Abbeydale area during the week of action, which also involved PCSO’s, special constables and representatives from partner agencies.
Inspector Ian Stubbs said: “We continue to work closely with the local community and encourage anyone that is suffering from anti-social behaviour to report it.”
