Would-be burglar caught 'stealing whisky' from Sheffield Tesco store in overnight raid
A would-be burglar caught stealing whisky from Tesco in Sheffield city centre was detained thanks to a vigilante member of the public.

Officers were called to the Express store on Howard Lane in the early hours of this morning (Monday, April 20) following a call from a member of the public.
A 48-year-old man was found in possession of stolen items and subsequently detained for commercial burglary.
It is understood he allegedly stole a quantity of whisky. He remains in police custody.
