Woman threatened with knife in street robbery in Sheffield

She was walking in a gennel between Tennyson Road and Whitehouse Road, Walkley, when she was targeted at 1.30pm on Monday, December 2.
Posting on Facebook to warn Walkley residents, her father said: “My daughter was mugged on the gennel between Tennyson Road and Whitehouse Road.

Hide Ad“Two males held a knife to her face and took her bag, containing her purse.
“The police have arrested two individuals.”
He added: “This was a brazen attack in broad daylight. Make sure you are all vigilant when walking around.
“The bag is brown Mulberry one and is likely to have been tossed into a garden or a bin nearby so please keep your eyes open for it.”
The victim said: “I’m okay, just shaken up.”
South Yorkshire Police has not yet found the incident on the force database to provide a comment.
