Woman stabbed in chest with bottle after finding women breaking into Sheffield home

Officers were called to Exeter Drive in Sheffield at 4.01am this morning following reports of a disturbance.

Police reported that a woman had been stabbed in the chest with a glass bottle having encountered two women who had allegedly breaking into a property on Exeter Drive.

The injured woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Two women aged 25 and 37 have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.
