Woman in hospital after being hit by car driven by suspected drug driver in Sheffield
A woman is in hospital after being hit by a car driven by a suspected drug driver in Sheffield today.
South Yorkshire Police said emergency services were called to St Mary’s Gate on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre just before 4.15pm to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and car.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 32-year-old was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
