The 25-year-old victim and her pet were reportedly attacked by two women and a man close to a bus stop in Gleadless on Monday, February 15.
Her face was bruised and she also sustained injuries to her body in the assault, which happened close to a bus stop on Gleadless Road, near the Newfield Green shops, at around 12.20pm.
Witnesses should call police on 101, quoting incident number 395 of February 15.
