The police helicopters have operated out of Finningley, while the new planes fly out of a custom-built base at Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

The National Police Air Service (NPAS) said on Thursday, February 11, that there would be an increase in aeroplane activity that day and the following day while it undertakes testing for new pilots while also flying operations.
