“Drug supply is responsible for a proportion of violence we see across our area. We know that this, understandably, is of huge concern to local communities, who can feel threatened and intimidated.
“Whilst we can’t always share the full details of our successes our efforts will remain relentless to drive down violence, drug-dealing and serious organised criminality, and reassures the community that we are absolutely committed to working with them and making the streets in which they live safer.
“We have been involved in an incident today which is one of many that we are progressing that aims to protect communities from the harm caused by drug related violence, safeguard vulnerable people, and bring those responsible to justice.”
To report those involved in the supply of drugs in Sheffield communities call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
