‘We see you baby’ - police joke erratic M1 driver was recreating Renault Megane ‘Shake It’ advert

South Yorkshire Police Operational Support posted on Facebook: “In the early hours of Thursday morning, we had a call reporting that this Renault Megane was all over the road. Maybe he was listening to the Renault Megane’s theme song and was just “shakin’ that ass” as he made his way along the M1, but we were naturally concerned the driver was either drunk or very tired."

The car was found parked at Woodall Services later that evening.

The post continued: “There was no alcohol involved. There was no sleepiness. There was no shakin’ of anything. There was also no driving licence or insurance.

“The Megane was soon shimmying onto the back of a recovery truck whilst the driver was dealt with for document offences. #WeSeeYouBaby”
