THESE three people are being hunted by police after brass pipes were stolen from the Barker’s Pool fountains in Sheffield city centre - meaning the fountains no longer work.
Police said two men and a woman climbed into the fountains in broad daylight when the fountains weren’t running and one of the men took the brass infill pipes from each.
A force spokeswoman said: “Police would like to speak with three people in connection with the theft of pipes from fountains in Barker’s Pool.
“At 3.30pm on Wednesday, October 17, two men and a woman climbed into two empty fountains. One of the men removed brass infill pipes from each fountain.”
