Wanted man arrested for drug dealing in crackdown on crime in Sheffield neighbourhood
A wanted man was arrested on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs as part of a crackdown on crime in a Sheffield neighbourhood.
The arrest was one of five in Burngreave and Pitsmoor during a busy weekend for the neighbourhood policing team covering the areas.
Police said the suspected drug dealer was arrested on Sunday for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin after suspected quantities of both drugs were found following a stop and search in Pitsmoor.
The man was already wanted for questioning over a separate drug supply offence and was taken to Shepcote Lane station for questioning.
